Various August -- Atlas Tack. Very pale Red-tailed hawk. No more views of Night Herons. Goldfinches all over thistle. Choppers.
August 24 -- West Island. Whimbrel and cooperative Least Sandpipers at Town Beach.
August 31 - Went with Kay to West Island State (north). Nothing unusual, except entertaining feeding frenzies. Three Laughing Gulls fighting over a fish just over our heads, almost dropped their prey on Kay. Pirates tried to take fish from cormorants.
