Lots of lessons about Orioles. Saw a female Baltimore Oriole working on her nest and occasionally being mounted by orange male.
Young male Orchard Oriole with female scolded when I stayed near "their" tree. Saw the female trying to get a piece of fishing line and when she was not successful, she moved on to other bits of stuff. Couldn't quite see the nest though.
Saw a raccoon and a deer.
Pair of noisy Great-crested Flycatchers making a nest in a hollow of a tree on Long Road.
Nice Red-eyed Vireo. Lots of Barn and Rough-winged Swallows about.
