July 6-- Cedar Waxwings at Shaw Road bike path. Saw a dead bird prob. run over by mower. Mourning Cloak butterfly and a Carrion Beetle were near it.
July 8 -- Scarlet Tanager on RR bed between Brandt Island Road and Matt. Neck Rd. Had seen my first one July 3 at end of bike path in Fairhaven. Lots of warblers (Yellow and Common Yellowthroat and prob. many more)...also heard cowbirds.
After lunch went to Little Bay to play Scrabble. Saw 4 AMOY (no pics) and tried out my new wide angle lens.
