On May 2, saw the first hummer at the feeder...no pic
May 3--Heavy rain and cold....wore down coat and gloves. PIPL were at the opposite end of the beach from their fence.
May 4 -- went to Long Road on a tip about a Yellow-crowned Night Heron. No heron, but saw a pair of Rough-Winged Swallows chasing away robins from the entrance of the Kingfishers' abandoned burrow. The swallows went in and out.
May 5-- Back to Long Road early. No heron. At lunch went to West Island. Tons of birds.
