Left on SATA from Boston Feb. 28 at 10:15 pm, arrived early in the morning in Ponta Delgada. Stayed at the Avenida Hotel. Went on a couple of tours with Panazorica tours. Drank a bottle of Casal Garcia Vinho Verde with lunch and dinner. Returned home on March 7.
View from hotel window. The white things all over the ground were water balloons from the Mardi Gras celebration the night before. They were actually shoveling them....looked like snow.
