Hot springs in Furnas. The holes are where the stews are put underground to cook. The stew is called cozida. We ate some....had veggies and different kinds of meat.

Left on SATA from Boston Feb. 28 at 10:15 pm, arrived early in the morning in Ponta Delgada. Stayed at the Avenida Hotel. Went on a couple of tours with Panazorica tours. Drank a bottle of Casal Garcia Vinho Verde with lunch and dinner. Returned home on March 7.
