Gorreana Tea Plantation...the only tea grown in Europe - Carolyn Longworth (clongworth)'s Photos

Left on SATA from Boston Feb. 28 at 10:15 pm, arrived early in the morning in Ponta Delgada. Stayed at the Avenida Hotel. Went on a couple of tours with Panazorica tours. Drank a bottle of Casal Garcia Vinho Verde with lunch and dinner. Returned home on March 7.

Carolyn Longworth (clongworth) > Hot springs in Furnas. The holes are where the stews are put underground to cook. The stew is called cozida. We ate some....had veggies and different kinds of meat.
