9/10/06 -- West Island marsh -- Great Blue Heron (he was watching a hawk in a neighboring tree)
Not pictured--some crows surrounding a small hawk in a tree. When the hawk flew, the crows followed. The hawk turned and ran a crow to the ground but didn't seem to touch it...both flew off.
