October 31 - Nelson's Sparrow at Hacker Street
October 30 -- Young Peregrine Falcon eating a Ring-bill in Staples parking lot. Caused so much commotion with people taking photos with phones, etc. that two cruisers showed up and kept tabs on it. UPDATE: Found out later that this starving young bird was captured by a rehabber, fattened up and brought to Tufts for further study and release!
October 29 - Lunchtime at Hacker Street with 10 Snow Buntings
October 25 - SEANET walk at West Island State - 2 Oystercatchers, an American Pipit, a Snow Bunting (no photo) , loons and some Sharp-tailed Sparrows. One looked like a Nelson's with white breast, almost no streaks and no dark moustachial stripe. BUT both it and one of the Saltmarsh Sparrows had a central smudge spot just like a Tree Sparrow.
