Someone who frequents Little Bay saw this Osprey get whacked right out of the sky by a wind turbine blade on August 23, 2012 at around 12:30 pm.
She got a photo of the legs and tail and I got the wings and head under the turbine.
Several days earlier I was at nearby Edgewater Street and counted 17 Osprey flying around.
