May 27--Went to Long Road about 5:30 a.m. Two herons in holding pond. One appeared to be juvenile. The adult finally tired of the young one hanging around and drove it away.
May 28 -- Long Road Wood Thrush. Only 3 of 6 goslings left, but now there are ducklings. Saw a fox crossing the street but when it saw me ran back across.
Saw a GC Flycatcher in the field behind my house.
