Black-crowned Night Heron at Mill Road 8/31/09

Young Peregrine Falcon at end of Egypt Lane. It went after a flying Cormorant who didn't notice him till it was too late. They both flew down into the marsh, but the falcon flew back up. The cormorant was much larger, so I think the falcon thought better of it.
